Two veteran actors are bringing decades of film, television, and stage experience to a new training program in Peachtree City. Jeffrey Pierce and Phillip Rhys Chaudhary recently launched Peachtree City Actors Workshop, offering structured classes for both adults and younger performers. The program has already completed its first eight-week sessions and is designed to give local actors access to professional-level instruction without having to leave the area. The founders also have bigger plans for the program. Their long-term goal is to help build a stronger year-round theater presence in Peachtree City, with future performances, expanded classes, and possible partnerships with local schools. The workshop adds another creative outlet to Fayette County’s growing film and entertainment community.
Comcast has opened a new Xfinity Store at 2802 Highway 54 in Peachtree City, giving Fayette County residents a second local option for equipment, account support, mobile service, internet plans, and business technology needs. The company tied the grand opening to one of Peachtree City’s best-known features with a “100 Miles, 100 Connections” campaign, a nod to the city’s network of more than 100 miles of multi-use paths. As part of the opening, Xfinity partnered with Peachtree City’s Recreation & Special Events Division to provide 100 backpacks to students during the August 8th Back to School Bash. The new location joins Xfinity’s existing Fayetteville store at 96A Pavilion Parkway, expanding the company’s retail presence across Fayette County.
Trilith LIVE has introduced a new prepaid parking system for upcoming ticketed events at its Fayetteville entertainment complex. Guests can now reserve parking in advance when purchasing event tickets through Ticketmaster or buy a parking pass separately through the Trilith LIVE website. Passes are stored in the Ticketmaster app and scanned digitally upon arrival. Parking will be centered in the multi-level garage next to the venue. Guests who reserve ahead of time will have a guaranteed space and can use the third-floor walkway for quicker access toward the main entrance. The new system is designed to make event arrivals smoother and reduce uncertainty on busy show days, giving visitors more time to enjoy restaurants and shops around the Town at Trilith before heading inside.
