TOGETHER WITH

Good morning, Fayette County. We start this inaugural edition of Fayette Flyer with being thankful for our incredible community! As we look past the turkey coma, we’re realizing that Fayette County transitions from "pass the gravy" to "deck the halls" faster than the chaos happening on Highways 54-74. We have a massive slate of holiday events kicking off this weekend—from light displays to Santa sightings—so we hope you save some energy (and fridge space) for what’s coming next.

THE DIGEST

Partners II Pizza of Fayetteville Moving

One of our county’s favorite pizza spots made the announcement that they will be constructing their own standalone building at 555 Glynn St Fayetteville GA 30214. Don’t be sad about the relocation as this is just half a mile from their existing location. This is right between the Broadway Diner shopping center and Fayette Veterinary Medical Center. The existing Partners Pizza in Fayetteville will remain open until they have successfully constructed and relocated to their new building.

QTS Data Center Site Blasting

If you hear explosions next week, have no fear WWIII has not started yet. It’s simply our friends at the local data center. The City of Fayetteville put out a public notice about blasting operations that will be occurring starting Monday, December 1st, 2025 on site of QTS Data Center site. This is at 1435 Hwy 54 W past Piedmont Fayette and Tyrone Rd, if you somehow haven’t seen the massive 615-acre data center site (I do like nicely landscaped multi-use paths; More of this please). Blasting in construction typically occurs when their is a large amount of rock or hard earth that cannot be removed effectively by just using hand tools or heavy machinery.
