Good morning, Fayette County.

I hope you didn't have anything planned outside today, it's going to be a washout. Whatever happened to those lazy thunderstorms that were really just rain with a couple of distant rumbles? The kind where you'd crack a window and fall into the best sleep of your life. Lately it feels like every storm comes ripping through, makes a ruckus for 10 minutes, and then it's over. I'm not complaining about the rain, I just miss the slow ones. What I will complain about is the idea of another hard freeze. Some of the plants in my yard are starting to bud, and I want to see those blooms. No more ice. Spring is too close to turn back now!
